若い方々が戦争について語り継ぐことは、社会的・歴史的な時代の要請なっており、これからのふるさと宮崎・日本と世界の平和で豊かな未来にとって極めて重要になってます。
We hope you can transmit these war experiences to the next generation. This is an important social and historical role for the future not only in Japan but in the world. It is our hope that the younger generation, such as students in elementary school, junior high, high school, and university, contribute their wisdom and knowledge to achieve true peace in our home town, Miyazaki, Japan, and in the world.
About Us
若い世代の皆さん、宮崎市民・県民の皆さん。戦後71年を迎え、戦争体験者の方々はご高齢になられました。そこで、中高生・大学生などの若い世代が、ふるさと体験と戦争体験を語り継ぐ・担い手として、戦争について調査して語り継いで欲しいのです。私たちはそのサパート役として、皆さんのバックアップをいたします。
Hello to the younger generation and all Miyazaki residents!
Over 70 years have passed since the end of World war Ⅱ, and people who experienced the war are aging. We want you to visit the places of historical legacy in your school district, such as air - raid shelters built during World War Ⅱ and other monuments, to learn about the situation at the time. Also, we want you to be explorers of your hometown history by taking initiative, engaging in independent research activities, and report on your experience and stories that you discovered!
For example, we want you to visit people who have experienced the war, listen to their stories and record their memories in various ways, such as taking photographs and video recordings.
